Before You Install
- Check that other functions of the car, such as the motors and battery, are working properly.
- Confirm the control box has the same appearance as the original part.
Pairing the Remote
- Install two AAA 1.5V batteries, matching the positive and negative markings in the battery chamber, then close the cover. The indicator will flash three times when the batteries are installed correctly.
- Press and hold the frequency key (car select) for about 2 seconds until the indicator flashes.
- Turn on the car's power. The indicator will turn off.
- If the indicator does not turn off, turn off the power and repeat steps 2 and 3.
To sync the remote with the car, press and hold the top white button for 3 to 5 seconds. Review the linking instructions on the back of the remote before use.
