Description
Clutch Basket for P200 and P Series Vespas
This clutch basket is designed for the P200 and other P series Vespa models featuring a large P200-style clutch. It plays an important role in connecting power from the engine to the rear wheel as speed increases. Like most vintage Vespa scooter parts, it installs directly in place of the original component. A worn clutch can lead to shuddering, slipping, or delayed engagement, making this replacement necessary for performance.
What This Part Does
The clutch connects the engine’s power to the rear wheel during acceleration. The tension of the clutch springs determines the RPM at which it engages, affecting launch strength. Replacing a worn clutch basket can improve responsiveness and overall ride quality.
