This clutch and front brake lever is designed for small frame Vespa scooters equipped with a manual transmission. It is compatible with models VMA2, V9A, V9B, and V5B. This part plays a key role in ensuring proper engagement between the clutch and rear wheel as engine RPM increases. Like most Vespa scooter parts, it fits directly where the original part was installed.
What This Part Does
The clutch lever engages the rear wheel when the engine speeds up. If it becomes worn, you may notice shuddering or slipping. Stiffer springs can be used to improve engagement timing for better performance during launches.
