It is designed as a direct replacement for worn factory gearboxes, making it a practical choice for both pit bike restorations and custom pocket quad builds. This is one of the key mini bike & pocket bike parts to ensure efficient torque delivery from your engine to the ground, minimizing friction and improving durability.

Key Performance Features

This gearbox comes pre-installed with a 6-tooth sprocket, which is optimized for maintaining high speeds in small-displacement racing engines. It is compatible with T8F and BF05T chain standards, making it suitable for a variety of import pocket bikes and quads. The internal design features a precision 78mm clutch drum, which provides smooth engagement and reduces heat during operation.

Installation and Fitment

Designed as a direct bolt-on fit, the Type-3 Gearbox requires no modifications to your existing Cag or Daytona-style frame. When installing, it is recommended to allow approximately 1/2 inch of chain tension "play" to avoid excessive wear on the gearbox components. This ensures reliable performance and longevity of the gearbox.
