Scooter Carburetor for 4-Stroke Engines
The PZ19 scooter carburetor is designed for small 4-stroke engines, providing improved performance for a range of youth dirt bikes, ATVs, and go-karts. This unit features a 19mm venturi bore, which increases air velocity and fuel atomization. Like most scooter carburetors & jets, this model is easy to install, making it ideal for home mechanics looking to upgrade their ride's performance.
Construction and Features
This carburetor is built with high-density alloy casting, ensuring resistance to corrosion and compatibility with ethanol-blended fuels. A manual choke lever is positioned on the left side, which can be adjusted for different mounting orientations. The carburetor comes pre-configured with a #75 main jet and a #35 idle/pilot jet, providing balanced performance straight out of the box.
Installation Guidelines
Before installation, it is important to remove remnants of any old gaskets to ensure a proper seal. The O-ring interface should sit flush against the intake manifold to prevent vacuum leaks, which can lead to erratic idling. Adjust the idle speed screw only after the engine has reached its operating temperature for precise tuning.
