Motor Features
Featuring a model MY1018E-D equipped with a 9-tooth drive sprocket pre-installed, this motor delivers the same output as the original stock motor. The black mounting bracket includes a bolt hole spacing of 95mm, making installation straightforward. The motor also comes with protected leads, consisting of red and black wires fitted with spade connectors, secured in a coiled spring guard.
Installation Tips
Before starting the installation, disconnect the battery for safety. It’s advisable to photograph the wiring of the old motor to ensure correct connection of the new unit. Match the red wire to positive and the black wire to negative. After installation, check the chain tension to confirm the setup is correct.
