For Gearboxes: 7R Gearboxes feature a thicker final output gear, unique internal shaft sizes, and stronger nylon compared to older models. A gearbox with an orange output indicates a 7R. Some of the latest 7R's may have white output shafts. Parts and motors from 7R's are NOT COMPATIBLE with older gearboxes. If one gearbox is stripped, it is advisable to replace both.
