Construction and Design
The choke features a precision-machined 7.98mm brass plunger with a rubber boot, designed to create an airtight seal within the carburetor's fuel delivery system. The choke mounts securely with a gold/zinc two-tab oval flange, maintaining a center-to-center bolt spacing of 30mm.
Installation and Operation
Fitted with a 2-pin rectangular female plug on approximately 7 inches of wire, this choke connects directly to the factory wiring harness, avoiding any need for splicing. Operating normally in an open state, it allows for extra fuel during startup. Once the engine is running, the internal heating mechanism activates, retracting the plunger to close the fuel delivery system as the engine warms up.
