Throttle Close Cable for Vespa Primavera and LX Models
The Magneti Marelli Throttle Close Cable is a dependable component designed for Vespa Primavera 125, Primavera 150, LX 125, and LX 150 models. This part plays an important role in the throttle system, ensuring that the throttle body returns to a closed position when the grip is released. It is one of the Vespa scooter parts that can be easily replaced, providing a direct fit without needing modifications to the handlebar or throttle body.
Functionality of the Throttle Close Cable
This cable serves as the return mechanism in the throttle assembly, pulling the throttle body closed to prevent it from sticking open. Its effective design ensures a positive snap-back, improving rider control and safety. Regular checks and timely replacements help maintain proper operation of the scooter’s throttle system.
Installation and Compatibility
Designed as a direct replacement, this throttle close cable fits directly into the existing throttle assembly, making installation straightforward for those familiar with their Vespa. It’s important to note that this listing includes only the closing cable; an opening cable is necessary for a complete throttle replacement.
