Description
Throttle Closing Cable for Vespa Primavera 125 and 150
The Magneti Marelli Throttle Close Cable is a compatible replacement designed for the Vespa Primavera 125 and 150 models. This part plays a key role in the throttle system by ensuring that the throttle body closes when the grip is released. Like most Vespa scooter parts from the factory, it drops straight in where the old one came out, making it an ideal choice for those looking to maintain their scooter's performance. It is engineered to meet the original specifications set by Piaggio for a reliable fit and function.
Functionality
This throttle closing cable is responsible for returning the throttle to its closed position, preventing any potential sticking. It is part of the two-cable throttle system featured in these Vespa models, ensuring smooth operation by allowing for a quick throttle snap-back. If the throttle is not returning correctly, replacing this cable is a straightforward solution to restore proper control over your scooter.
Installation Details
The installation of this throttle closing cable is direct and requires no alterations to the handlebar setup or throttle mechanism. Simply replace the old cable with this new unit for a straightforward transition. Keep in mind that this listing only includes the closing cable; you will need a separate opening cable for a complete throttle cable replacement.
