This motor and gearbox upgrade kit is a practical option for owners who want more performance from their ride-on builds, and it pairs with the Power Wheels gearboxes we carry as an aftermarket replacement. Two motor-gearbox assemblies are included, so you can set up a matched pair for a custom project.
Multi-Voltage Power Output
The kit runs on 12V, 18V, or 24V power supplies, and output changes with voltage. At 24V, it delivers 280W and 360 RPM. At 18V, output is 200W and 270 RPM. At 12V, it runs at 180 RPM. The system is optimized for 24V battery setups, and lower voltages reduce speed while still providing usable performance.
Durable Gearbox Construction
The gearbox shell is made from a high-strength composite material that resists deformation during regular use. Both the large and small gears include built-in bearings to reduce friction and help extend service life. The intermediate gear is made of metal to handle heavier loads over repeated use.
1:75 Gear Reduction Ratio
The 1:75 gear ratio balances speed and torque, giving steady pulling power for ride-on toy vehicles. The high-power motor core works with this ratio to support aftermarket replacement and power upgrades.
Replacement Installation
One-click plug-in wiring makes direct swaps quicker. The unit is designed to replace gearboxes with a 6-plum-blossom interface. Because the motor diameter is larger than many standard motors, the mounting holes are sized differently. Measure your original motor-gearbox before ordering to confirm proper fit.
Power Requirements
This kit requires a controller rated at 40A or higher and a fuse rated at 25A or higher. Using mismatched electrical parts may cause capacitor damage or unit failure, so confirm that your controller, fuse, and battery match these requirements before installation.
