Description
Float Bowl Gasket for CVK Carburetors on GY6 Engines
This float bowl gasket is designed specifically for Keihin-style CVK carburetors used in GY6 125cc and 150cc engines. It serves as a reliable seal between the float bowl and carburetor body, preventing fuel leaks. It is one of the straightforward GY6 150cc scooter parts that can be replaced quickly when performing maintenance or repairs. Ensure a proper fit and function to keep your engine running smoothly.
Construction and Design
Made from molded rubber, this gasket features a single-piece design that includes three built-in O-rings. These O-rings create a secure seal at the left mounting post, center drain port, and side drain screw port. The gasket effectively stops fuel from escaping at every sealing point, ensuring efficient operation of the carburetor.
Replacement Guidelines
Replace this gasket whenever the float bowl is removed for cleaning or jetting. It’s advisable to check the gasket for signs of wear, such as compression, cracks, or fuel leakage. A fresh gasket will help maintain the integrity of the fuel system and prevent performance issues.
