This headlamp assembly offers a complete replacement for the headlights found on vintage large-frame Vespa models including the VBB, VBA, VNB, and others. It is designed to restore the classic aesthetic while ensuring proper functionality. As one of the vintage Vespa scooter parts, it helps fix issues with rust, cracks, or dim lighting in the original headlight. Bulbs are not included with the assembly, but it requires specific types to operate.
Features of the Headlamp Assembly
The assembly consists of a chrome shell, a clear glass lens, and a reflector, all integrated into one unit. It includes a dual bulb holder that accommodates both the main headlight and auxiliary pilot bulbs, featuring brass contacts and screw terminals for secure connections. Wire retaining clips are also included to hold the reflector firmly in place.
Installation and Compatibility
Before installing, it's necessary to fit the headlight and pilot bulbs into the holder and connect the wires to the corresponding screw terminals, matching the original setup. This assembly is specifically compatible with several vintage Vespa models, ensuring that it fits perfectly into your scooter.
