6V Battery Charger for Ride On Car Toys
This 6 volt universal charger is one of the ride on car chargers Magic Cars offers for keeping your child's 6V ride on car ready to play. It is designed to work with a wide range of 6V ride on cars, and it includes a smart charging system that helps protect both the charger and the battery.
Key Features
- Wide compatibility: Works with many 6V ride on cars, including models from Kid Trax, Dynacraft, Hello Kitty, BMW, Jeep Wrangler, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, Audi, Lamborghini, and Range Rover.
- Smart charging: An intelligent IC chip recognizes when the battery is fully charged and automatically switches the charger to a maintenance mode.
- Built-in protection: Guards against over-heating, over-current, over-voltage, and short circuits.
- Easy-to-read indicator: The red light shows the battery is charging, and the green light shows a full charge.
- Standard connector: Uses a center positive barrel plug with a 5-foot power cable.
Before You Charge
- Check that the voltage and plug connector on your ride on car match this charger before purchasing.
- Make sure the battery is in good condition before charging.
- Do not charge the battery for more than 12 hours.
Troubleshooting Tips
- If the charger shows a green light right away and the car does not charge, the battery may be dead or worn out. Test the charger with another 6V device, or test the battery with a different charger.
- Lead acid batteries have a limited lifespan. A battery used for more than 12 months, or left unused for 2 to 3 months, may be damaged.
- If the green light turns on when the charger is plugged in but turns off when connected to the car, the car may have an internal short circuit. Check the battery and replace it if needed.
- If the charger keeps showing a green light during charging, the battery likely needs to be replaced.
