Choosing the Right Gear
Each motor comes with three tooth sizes so you can match the original motor. Before ordering, count the teeth on your existing motor and confirm the tooth count is 15, 19, or 23. Using a gear that does not match can damage the motor.
Installation Tips
- Select the gear that matches your original motor's teeth.
- Gently tap the gear onto the motor shaft with a hammer.
- Both motors can be installed on either side. If a motor turns in the wrong direction, swap the two cable positions on that motor.
- Use a power supply that matches the motor's rated voltage. Higher voltage can burn out the motor.
