250cc Thermostat Assembly for 172mm 4-Stroke Engines
This 250cc thermostat assembly is designed specifically for 4-stroke liquid-cooled engines, ensuring that your engine maintains a proper operating temperature. The thermostat opens at 158°F (70°C), which helps prevent overheating and prolongs engine life. It is a key component of the scooter cooling system, providing reliable performance for various scooters and mopeds.
Features and Benefits
This thermostat is a direct replacement for factory-installed units in many popular engine models. Its precise opening temperature aids in maintaining the ideal temperature range for efficient engine operation. By preventing overheating, it protects against rapid engine failure and costly repairs.
Installation and Compatibility
Designed for a straightforward fit, this thermostat replaces the stock thermostats in engines like the VOG 260 and BN169MM. When installing, it's advisable to inspect surrounding components such as coolant hoses and the radiator cap for wear. Flushing the cooling system with fresh coolant can help eliminate air pockets and improve performance.
