Troubleshooting a Faulty Foot Pedal
- Start the vehicle and note whether it runs.
- Connect the two wire sets of the foot pedal together.
- If the vehicle runs normally with the wires connected, the foot pedal switch is defective and should be replaced.
- If the vehicle still will not run with the wires connected, the problem is elsewhere in the vehicle, not the foot pedal switch.
